A leafy bush suburb of Northern Sydney on the Hornsby Shire plateau, about 39 km north of the Sydney CBD and roughly 216 m above sea level, looking out over the Berowra valley and bushland of the Hawkesbury country. Berowra Heights grew as a quiet family suburb from the late 1960s — its post office opened on 2 September 1968 — and at the 2021 census had 5,286 residents, 77.9% born in Australia.
