Colebee, NSW 2761

Fast-growing residential suburb about 47 km west of the Sydney CBD in the City of Blacktown LGA and the Western Sydney region, sitting at the northern end of Blacktown's release-area corridor beside Marsden Park and Schofields. It is named after C. Colebee, a Boorooberongal man believed to have been the first Indigenous Australian granted land in the Blacktown area, at Plumpton Ridge, and the suburb contains the heritage-listed Colebee and Nurragingy Land Grant site on Richmond Road. At the 2021 census Colebee had 4,914 residents with a young, family-oriented profile — median age 33 — and above-average household incomes for the region (median household income about $3,223 per week).
