Constitution Hill is a small, tightly held residential suburb of about 4,030 people (2021 census) that was part of Wentworthville until it was gazetted as a separate suburb by the Geographical Names Board on 19 January 2007. It sits roughly 26–27 km west of the CBD as a quiet, leafy, family-oriented pocket of post-war and modern homes on the Cumberland Plain, wedged between Old Toongabbie, Winston Hills, Northmead, Wentworthville and Westmead. Residents are culturally diverse — 57.4% were born in Australia, with the next most common birthplaces India (4.6%), China (3.7%) and Lebanon (3.3%), and 53.2% speak only English at home. The suburb takes its name from the hill — Mount Dorothy — where convict rebels gathered in 1804 during the Castle Hill Rebellion before their planned march on Parramatta, an episode commemorated at the summit today.

Transport
Constitution Hill has no railway station; local bus services connect it with Wentworthville, Westmead and Parramatta, and rail commuters bus or drive a short distance to Wentworthville or Westmead stations (stMate). Westmead station is served by the T1 North Shore & Western, T5 Cumberland and Blue Mountains lines and has been the terminus of the L4 Parramatta Light Rail since December 2024, with Sydney Metro West to terminate there in future — giving Constitution Hill residents a quick link to the rail network. The M4 corridor is close by for drivers heading to Parramatta or the city (stMate).
Schools
Toongabbie East Public School — one of NSW's smallest government schools, with just 53 students and 4 teachers in 2015 — is the only school within Constitution Hill's boundaries. Families also draw on schools in immediately adjoining suburbs, including Westmead Public School (established 1917) and the Catholic high schools Catherine McAuley (girls) and Parramatta Marist (boys), both in Westmead.
