Public transport is bus-based — Elanora Heights has no railway station, light rail or ferry wharf. The suburb sits on the ridge above Pittwater Road, where the B1 B-Line express double-decker service stops at Narrabeen and North Narrabeen. Route 182, running between Narrabeen and Mona Vale, serves the suburb's local streets and connects residents down to the B-Line stops at Narrabeen/North Narrabeen.
