Transport
Flemington railway station is a heritage-listed station on the Main Suburban line, opened in 1884 and relocated to its present site in 1924 when the line was quadrupled; it has four platforms on two island platforms with an overhead concourse, is fully accessible with lifts, and was upgraded in 2014–2018 with a new concourse. It is 14.32 km from Central and is served by Sydney Trains T2 Leppington & Inner West services, running direct to Central and the City Circle and west to Parramatta, Leppington and Liverpool. The station's concourse connects to the Sydney Markets on the north side via a long elevated pedestrian walkway over the freight tracks. Transit Systems route 408 (Rookwood Cemetery to Westfield Burwood) calls at the station, and NightRide routes N60 (Fairfield to Town Hall) and N61 (Carlingford to Town Hall) pass through.
