Kogarah, NSW 2217

Kogarah is considered the centre of the St George area, 14 km south-west of the Sydney CBD, and grew around the railway line as a civic, commercial and health hub for the region. It had 16,416 residents at the 2021 census and is highly multicultural — just 30.4% of people spoke only English at home, with Nepali, Mandarin, Cantonese, Greek and Bengali the main other languages.
