Transport
Public transport is bus-based and no railway station sits in the suburb: the main connection is the 748 bus route from Schofields railway station to Elara, Marsden Park. The nearest stations are Schofields (T1 Richmond line) in the adjoining suburb of Schofields and Riverstone station in neighbouring Riverstone. Transport for NSW has protected a preferred corridor from Tallawong through Marsden Park for the Tallawong to St Marys project, which plans a future extension of the Sydney Metro North West line terminating at Schofields plus a new metro-style service between Schofields and St Marys — giving the suburb a future direct rail connection to the Sydney Metro network.

Marsden Park Public School — NSW government primary school established in 1889, making it the suburb's oldest school.
