Leafy, hilly residential suburb in southern Sydney about 22 km south of the Sydney CBD, in the St George area and the local government area of Georges River Council. Peakhurst Heights was a locality of Peakhurst until recognised as a separate suburb in 1995 — it was originally known as Peakhurst South — and it remains a quiet, established, family-oriented pocket with a higher socio-economic profile than its parent suburb: at the 2021 census it had 2,524 residents, a median age of 44, a median weekly household income of $2,105 and a SEIFA advantage score of 1078, higher than 92% of Australian areas.
