Seven Hills, NSW 2147

Seven Hills is an established, predominantly residential suburb of Greater Western Sydney about 33 km north-west of the Sydney CBD, named for the hills Matthew Pearce could see from his 1795 'Kings Langley Farm' grant, with the railway arriving in 1863 and the modern suburb shaped by post-war housing schemes from the 1950s. At the 2021 census it had 20,095 residents in a family-oriented, owner-occupier market — 62.1% of homes were owner-occupied, most households are couples with children and the median age is 37. It is a genuinely multicultural suburb: only 50.6% of residents were born in Australia, with the largest overseas-born groups from India (12.2%), Sri Lanka (4.2%), the Philippines (3.4%) and China (2.5%), and Tamil is the most common language spoken at home after English. Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School — a Catholic systemic primary at 7 Grantham Road founded in 1963 by the Sisters of St Joseph — is the suburb's parish school, with the neighbouring suburb of Lalor Park adding St Bernadette's Catholic Primary School (K-6, 18 Wheeler Street) for Catholic families (OLOL Seven Hills; St Bernadette's Lalor Park).

Seven Hills Plaza is the suburb's main shopping centre: a sub-regional, Woolworths- and ALDI-anchored centre of about 20,986 m² at 224 Prospect Highway with two mini-majors and roughly 85 specialty retailers, about a three-minute walk from Seven Hills station and bus terminal.
